Karen Gibson brings more than fifteen years of practice handling workers’ compensation, employment-related disputes, and insurance-defense matters throughout Georgia. She has extensive experience representing insurance carriers and employers, managing substantial caseloads, maintaining direct client relationships, and litigating claims before administrative law judges as well as state and superior courts.

Earlier in her career, Karen represented both injured workers and defense-side clients, giving her a balanced perspective that informs her current practice. She has tried workers’ compensation hearings and magistrate-court matters, achieved notable success in appellate proceedings, supervised legal teams, and built long-standing relationships with adjusters and employers across the Southeast. Her experience also includes government-liability work for public entities and officials.

Karen earned her J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law, where she was highly active in moot-court and advocacy competitions, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Recognized for her professional excellence and community involvement, she has been named a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star and selected among Georgia’s Top 40 Under 40 attorneys. Active in numerous legal and civic organizations, Karen is deeply engaged in the Macon community and committed to delivering results-driven counsel for her clients.
