Lijeda Demko

Lijeda Demko focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and insurance coverage matters. She represents employers, carriers, and third-party administrators in claims involving workplace injuries, guiding clients through each stage of the litigation process—from investigation and discovery to hearings and resolution. Lijeda brings a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to every matter she handles.

With extensive experience in drafting and responding to complex legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery materials, Lijeda ensures that filings are accurate, timely, and aligned with client objectives. She communicates directly with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders, helping to shape strategy and move cases forward efficiently.

Before becoming an attorney, Lijeda gained hands-on legal experience supporting attorneys in both workers’ compensation and personal injury defense practices. She is adept at managing fast-paced caseloads, researching legal precedent, organizing client documentation, and coordinating with court personnel.

Lijeda earned her J.D. from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2023, where she was awarded a merit scholarship and was an active student member of the New York City Bar Association. She is fluent in Albanian and Greek, and originally grew up in Athens, Greece, before moving to the United States at the age of 15.
