Peter “PJ” Leyh focuses his practice on general liability and casualty defense, labor and employment law, and workers’ compensation matters. He represents employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in all stages of litigation, from initial case evaluation through settlement, mediation, and trial. PJ has extensive experience deposing injured workers, preparing briefs for hearings and appeals, and developing strategic litigation plans in close collaboration with clients. He also assists with general liability litigation in Virginia Circuit Courts, handling research, motion practice, and trial preparation.
PJ earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he was inducted into the McNeil Society and received the Law Faculty Award in Labor & Employment Law. He holds a B.A. in History from Drew University. He is admitted to practice in Virginia.
Outside the office, PJ is an avid runner, having completed multiple 10Ks, 10-milers, and two half marathons, most recently the Richmond Half in 2024. A devoted Philadelphia sports fan, he enjoys cheering on the Eagles and Phillies.
