His practice encompasses personal injury defense, property damage claims, breach of contract disputes, franchise agreements, and motor vehicle accident litigation. Robert also advises and defends clients in the hospitality, retail, and real estate sectors, including hotels, restaurants, homeowners’ associations, and condominium associations.
In addition to his litigation work, Robert is committed to mentoring attorneys and legal staff, ensuring consistent, high-quality client service across the practice. He is skilled at leading cases from early stages through resolution, drawing on years of experience handling depositions, motion practice, and trials.
Earlier in his career, Robert gained valuable judicial experience as a staff attorney in Florida’s Fourteenth Judicial Circuit and as a judicial extern for the First District Court of Appeal. His legal background also includes work on intellectual property matters and advocacy for children and families.
Robert earned his J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, where he served as an editor for both the Florida State University Law Review and the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy, and studied abroad at Oxford University. He holds a B.A., cum laude, in Politics with a minor in Japanese Language from Ursinus College, where he also studied abroad at International Christian University in Tokyo. A dual citizen of the United States and Japan, he is proficient in Japanese and has achieved Level N2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
