Torrie N. Poplin serves as Of Counsel at Chartwell, concentrating her practice on general liability, trucking, and transportation defense, including high-exposure catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation. Licensed in both Illinois and Wisconsin, she regularly appears in state and federal courts. Torrie has experience handling cases at every stage—from the initial claim through trial and appeal.

Before joining Chartwell, Torrie practiced at a leading plaintiff’s firm, focusing exclusively on transportation and trucking litigation. This experience provides her with a unique perspective in her defense work, enabling her to anticipate opposing strategies and handle even the most challenging legal issues. She is known for consistently delivering strong advocacy and favorable results for her clients both in and out of court.

Based in Chicago, Torrie enjoys spending summers outdoors with her family. Originally from Louisiana, she remains a devoted fan of the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Pelicans.
