J. Taylor Stewart is a workers’ compensation defense attorney practicing in New Jersey. He has experience handling claims at all stages of litigation and is particularly skilled in settlement negotiations and resolving claims expeditiously. If matters go to trial, Taylor will develop a robust, aggressive defense strategy that moves toward successful resolution and mitigates future risk exposure on behalf of his clients.

While in law school, Taylor received the Ralph Bunche Fellowship and the Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholarship. He received the Rutgers Law School Achievement Award in Legal Writing for demonstrating the highest caliber of practical writing in the legal profession. Additionally, Taylor was an editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy and served as President of Rutgers Hispanic Students Association, Alianza.

Prior to joining the firm, Taylor was an associate handling workers’ compensation matters for a firm in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.

When he’s not working, Taylor enjoys shark fishing and participating in bass fishing tournaments.
