(Philadelphia, PA) — Chartwell Law is proud to announce that attorney Elisha M. Sullivan has been named Maritime Attorney of the Year as part of the 2026 Florida Legal Awards, which recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the legal industry in Florida.
Elisha will be honored at the Florida Legal Awards ceremony on April 29 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami, where winners across all finalist categories will be recognized.
Elisha focuses her practice on admiralty and maritime law, including the defense of crew and passenger personal injury claims. She represents cruise lines and domestic and international insurers and their insureds in matters arising under the General Maritime Law, the Jones Act, the Limitation of Liability Act, and the Death on the High Seas Act. Her work encompasses litigation in state and federal courts, as well as binding arbitration proceedings.
In addition to her trial work, Elisha has significant appellate experience, having represented clients before Florida’s appellate courts and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Eleventh and Fourth Circuits.
This recognition highlights Elisha’s dedication to her clients and her strong presence in the maritime legal community.
