Chartwell Law Names Nine New Partners

Valley Forge, PA, January 7, 2021 - Chartwell Law is pleased to announce it promoted nine associates to partners. They include Adam T. Devine, Allison C. Drompp, Thomas F. Gallagher, Marissa J. Huber, Mehdi E. Manseur, Dorie L. Ortiz, Joseph C. Raffanello, Anthony J. Renaldo, and Julia C. Rogers. Effective January 1, 2021.

Chartwell Law has always encouraged people to grow personally and professionally and to aspire to leadership within the firm and the legal community,” said Thomas Strohmetz, one of the firm’s founding partners. “In 2002, Chartwell Law started with just four lawyers with one office in Pennsylvania, and now we have 165 lawyers in 18 offices all along the East Coast from Boston to Miami. We are glad these attorneys contributed to our journey.”

Adam T. Devine practices workers’ compensation defense out of the firm’s New York City office. Since 2018, he has been named to New York Metro Rising Stars list. Adam was the 2019 recipient of the firm’s Chartwell Cares Award for his charitable endeavors.

Allison C. Drompp focuses her practice on insurance defense with an emphasis on first-party and third-party property claims. Allison also has experience in complex federal workers’ compensation defense including claims under the Defense Base Act and Longshore Act. She is in the firm’s Miami, Florida office.

Thomas F. Gallagher practices workers’ compensation defense and employment law. In 2019 and 2020, Tom was listed on Pennsylvania Rising Stars. He is in the firm’s Harrisburg, Pennsylvania office and he is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Marissa J. Huber practices workers’ compensation defense with a focus on representing New York State indemnity and medical exposure cases. Before joining Chartwell Law, she worked as a claimant’s attorney, which gives her clients an advantage, since she is familiar with how the other side is thinking. Marissa works out of the firm’s New York City office.

Mehdi E. Manseur handles insurance defense matters pertaining to bodily injury, personal injury protection, and property damage. He resides in the firm’s Miami, Florida office. Prior to joining Chartwell Law, Mehdi was the managing partner and owner of his own general civil practice in Miami, Florida, most recently he was a member of staff counsel for a large national insurance carrier in Miami.

Dorie L. Ortiz practices general liability defense and insurance defense, concentrating primarily in construction defect litigation. She works out of the firm’s Deerfield Beach, Florida office. Prior to joining the firm, Dorie was an attorney at a Fort Lauderdale, Florida litigation firm where she handled insurance defense and commercial litigation.

Joseph C. Raffanello practices workers’ compensation defense with a concentration on matters within the hospitality, construction, food service, and retail sectors. Prior to joining the team at Chartwell Law, Joe spent several years representing claimants before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. Joe works from Chartwell Law’s New York City office.

Anthony J. Renaldo focuses his practice on insurance defense matters involving first-party and third-party defense litigation. He is a member of Chartwell Law’s Deerfield Beach, Florida office. Before joining the firm, Anthony handled insurance litigation matters for a large Fort Lauderdale, Florida law firm.

Julia C. Rogers handles a general liability practice that focuses on personal injury and property damage defense, commercial and homeowner premises liability, construction defect litigation, and Dram shop liability. She is listed on the Pennsylvania Rising Stars list for 2020. Julia works from the firm’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office.
