(Atlanta, GA)—Chartwell Law is pleased to announce that attorney Allison Edgar Gylfe has
joined the firm as a Partner in its Atlanta office. With over a decade of experience in general
liability and insurance defense litigation, Allison brings a dynamic, client-focused approach to
Chartwell’s growing presence in the Southeast. She will also play a key role in supporting the
firm’s expanding South Georgia and Middle Georgia team.
Allison has defended hundreds of cases on behalf of individuals, businesses, and insurers,
successfully navigating claims involving motor vehicle and trucking accidents, premises liability,
negligent security, medical malpractice, and wrongful death. She joins Chartwell from both
boutique litigation firms and the in-house legal team of a major national insurance carrier, giving
her a well-rounded perspective on risk and resolution strategy.

In addition to her litigation work, Allison previously managed a ten-person law firm and led its
transition to a fully digital case management platform. Her experience streamlining operations
and mentoring younger attorneys reflects Chartwell’s values of innovation and collaboration.
Allison earned her J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law and her B.A.
from the University of Florida. She is admitted to practice before all Georgia state courts, the
Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court for the
Northern District of Georgia.
