April D. Romeo is a seasoned trial attorney who represents clients in professional liability, premises liability, and a broad range of civil litigation matters. With nearly two decades of legal experience, April has built an impressive litigation background encompassing both civil and criminal practice. Before returning to private practice, April served as an assistant district attorney, where she first-chaired 15 jury trials and handled numerous bench trials, preliminary hearings, sentencing hearings, bond hearings, and other contested proceedings.

April also served as in-house counsel for the largest independent talent buyer in North America, advising executives on legal and business matters involving contracts, employment issues, regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate strategy. In that role, she negotiated agreements, drafted employment and commercial contracts, coordinated with outside counsel, and provided ongoing legal guidance to support business operations.

April earned her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law, where she concentrated in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Flagler College, majoring in Political Science and English Literature with a minor in Pre-Law.

She is admitted to practice in Tennessee and Georgia, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
