Anthony P. Trozzolillo is a litigation defense attorney practicing for over 30 years throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio. Anthony represents businesses, insurance carriers and third-party administrators in many areas including medical malpractice, trucking litigation, personal injury, products liability, premises liability, and employment law and discrimination. In addition, Anthony has successfully defended the Boy Scouts of America involving summer camp litigation pertaining to climbing tower and rock-climbing cases, motor vehicle accidents and defamation suits. He also represents vacation resort properties located in Central and Northeast Pennsylvania in general liability litigation.
Anthony has successfully and routinely tried to verdict a variety of complex cases throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio. He obtained a defense verdict on behalf of an international retailer after a seven-week jury trial in federal court, where the plaintiff sought damages in excess of $20 million dollars. He also delivered defense verdicts to a hospital in a medical malpractice case, in which damages sought were in excess of $25 million dollars, as well as for a mental health facility in a wrongful death case. He successfully obtained dismissal of all defamation claims brought by a former scout master after he was dismissed from the troop for violation of rules related to supervision of minors.
Anthony became Board certified in Civil Litigation in 2002 by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and was re-certified in 2007, 2012 and 2018. He has also been named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® list as seen in both Philadelphia Magazine and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine, consecutively every year since 2011.
Prior to joining the team at Chartwell, Anthony was a partner at another law firm and gained the experience and skillset that helped him to excel in his practice, today.
Outside of the office, Anthony enjoys collecting coins and sports cards.
