Chandra A. Carr focuses her practice on personal injury defense, motor vehicle accident litigation, trucking matters, and premises liability claims. She represents individuals, businesses, and commercial trucking companies in a wide range of liability matters, bringing a results-oriented approach to every case. Chandra works closely with clients to investigate claims, evaluate legal strategy, and guide cases through each stage of litigation.
Earlier in her career, Chandra practiced in California for five years, focusing on insurance defense, housing and landlord-tenant litigation, and a range of civil matters. Her landlord-tenant work included representing both indigent tenants through legal aid and public housing landlords.
During that time, her primary focus was insurance defense, where she handled personal injury matters, including premises liability and motor vehicle accident cases, as well as a matter involving intellectual property issues. She also has significant experience defending religious organizations in cases involving premises liability and civil assault claims.
Chandra is admitted to practice in California and Texas, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. She earned her Juris Doctor from Santa Barbara College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University.
Outside of her legal practice, Chandra enjoys competitive rifle and pistol shooting, golf, travel, and exploring French culture, an interest shaped by time she spent living in France.
