J.C. Roper Jr. is an accomplished workers’ compensation defense attorney practicing throughout the state of Georgia. Representing insurance carriers, employers, large, self-insured corporations and third-party administrators, J.C. has tremendous experience throughout the litigation process, from initial claim through to trial before the State Board of Workers’ Compensation and appellate litigation arguing before the Superior Court and the Georgia Supreme Court, if necessary.

Many of J.C.’s clients are Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 small to medium sized businesses hailing from a vast number of industry sectors. These include auto manufacturers, international airline catering services, aircraft parts manufacturers and trucking companies, hospitality, retail and restaurant businesses, as well as municipal government entities, PEOs, staffing companies.  In addition, J.C. has represented numerous commercial construction companies and industrial contractors.

J.C. highly regarded among his peers, having achieved the rating of AV Preeminent® with Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer rating standard. He is often called upon to offer loss mitigation and risk management strategies and is a frequent speaker on various workers’ compensation topics at industry conferences.
