Joseph A. Suarez

Joseph A. Suarez focuses his practice in the areas of insurance defense, bad faith litigation, professional negligence, commercial litigation and construction litigation. He also has experience handling family, admiralty and administrative law matters.

Joe has handled hundreds of first-party property insurance matters and third-party liability claims. He works extensively with insurers to provide liability, coverage and SIU opinions on claims, whether in suit or pre-suit, in order to assist in claims handling, defense planning, and managing risk. In the courtroom, Joe has obtained multiple summary judgments and involuntary dismissals with prejudice for his clients and has handled cases through trial.

Prior to joining the firm, Joe practiced at a full-service Miami-based law firm where he handled insurance defense litigation. While in law school, he was a member of the Board of Advocates and Moot Court team, where he was honored with awards for his writing and advocacy skills.
