Katie Perry focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense, representing employers and insurance carriers throughout Pennsylvania. She brings extensive litigation experience and a results-driven approach to positioning cases for favorable outcomes at every stage.
Katie handles all aspects of workers’ compensation matters, including developing defense strategies, managing complex petitions, conducting and defending depositions, and appearing before Workers’ Compensation Judges across the state. She regularly prepares medical experts and fact witnesses, presents oral arguments, and drafts appellate briefs, including matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board. Her experience also includes negotiating settlements, attending mediations, and advising clients on risk exposure and claims handling.
In addition to her workers’ compensation practice, Katie has substantial experience litigating third-party claims, including motor vehicle accidents and slip-and-fall cases, as well as first-party uninsured and underinsured motorist claims. This background gives her a strong command of litigation strategy, effective representation, and client communication.
Katie earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she received multiple honors in trial advocacy, including the Barrister Award in Advanced Trial Advocacy, which is given to the top student in the class. She also served as a teaching assistant for Trial Advocacy and was actively involved in student organizations and pro bono work. Katie received her B.A. in Journalism, with a minor in Italian, from Pennsylvania State University.
