With more than 25 years of experience, Keith Thomerson focuses his practice on real estate litigation, including E&O claims against brokers and agents, landlord/tenant litigation, property insurance coverage disputes, claims for injury to real property, title claims litigation, representation of mortgage lenders and mortgage servicers, and REO claims and issues. As an agent for Chicago Title, Keith is uniquely familiar with title insurance, escrow and closing services, and assists clients with an array of title-related services.

Keith defends complex claims of medical negligence and other matters of professional negligence, including the representation of real estate agents and brokers in professional liability matters, as well as engineers, architects, and surveyors, and insurance brokers and agents.
He also represents mortgage lenders, financial institutions, and mortgage servicers in contested foreclosures, first-party causes of action, and homeowner’s association-related litigation and claims.
Keith defends class action litigation and represents mortgage servicers, lenders, and trustees in cases involving alleged predatory lending, mortgage fraud, and challenges to mortgage note holders’ rights to foreclose.
Representative cases he handles include matters arising under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and various state consumer protection laws.
