Luigi Tollis is an experienced litigator focused on the defense of labor law claims, premises liability matters, and property damage actions. He represents clients through every phase of litigation, utilizing a results-driven approach grounded in thoughtful legal strategy and careful case management.

Throughout his career, Luigi has handled high-exposure labor law matters and property damage disputes, including claims involving commercial entities facing significant liability exposure. He has extensive experience taking depositions, arguing dispositive motions, participating in mediations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings, and supporting trial teams through verdict and appeal. In addition to his litigation practice, Luigi has played a key role in mentoring and managing junior attorneys, guiding them through all aspects of case development and strategy.

Earlier in his career, Luigi represented clients in commercial finance and insurance litigation matters, including business interruption and coverage disputes, multi-party commercial litigation, and high-profile financial claims. His experience also includes work involving structured financial agreements, regulatory compliance considerations, and due diligence support for large-scale transactions, giving him a strong understanding of how litigation risk and business operations interact.

Luigi earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, where he was named to the Dean’s List and received the Jurisprudence Award in Antitrust. He earned his B.A. in History from Providence College. He is admitted to practice in New York, Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Luigi has been recognized as a New York Metro Region Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2019 through 2023. Outside of his legal practice, he is an avid golfer.
