Weathers Virden is a trial attorney whose practice centers on transportation litigation and labor and employment matters, with additional experience handling insurance coverage disputes. He represents motor carriers, employers, and insurers in high-exposure claims, including those involving commercial and passenger vehicles.

His broader experience includes business transactions, premises liability, and product liability matters, as well as SIU claims investigation and defense, which gives him a holistic perspective when evaluating risk and developing defense strategies.

In addition to his litigation work, Weathers is active in industry thought leadership. He has authored recent labor and employment law updates for DRI and has co-authored articles addressing key issues in the trucking industry, demonstrating his continued focus on developments impacting his clients.

Weathers is licensed to practice in Mississippi and Alabama. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law and his B.A. from Mississippi State University. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants (2026) and was selected to Mid-South Rising Stars (2024).

When he's not practicing law, Weathers enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their son, Beau.
