Summer Associate Program

Chartwell’s summer associate program offers law students hands-on experience and meaningful mentorship, with real-world exposure to legal practice. Participants work on substantive assignments, shadow seasoned attorneys, and engage in firm life—all while gaining the skills and confidence to launch their legal careers.

Interviews for our 2026 Summer Associate Program have concluded. Each year, Chartwell welcomes 2L law students to participate in an in office, in person Summer Associate program running approximately nine weeks, from early June through early August. The program is designed to provide hands on legal experience, meaningful mentorship, and insight into the day to day practice of law in a collaborative firm environment.
