Chartwell Law Attorneys Named to New York Metro Rising Stars List

Chartwell Law is pleased to announce that that four of the firm’s attorneys were selected for inclusion in the 2021 New York Rising Stars® list. Adam T. Devine, Jason D. Lewis and Nicholas R. Switach were selected for workers’ compensation and Christopher Wosleger was selected for insurance coverage.

Adam is a partner in the firm’s New York, NY office and focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defending employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. He leverages his previous experience as a claimant-side attorney to represent his clients in the full lifecycle of compensation claims.

Jason is an associate in the White Plains, NY office focusing on workers’ compensation defense, representing large, self-insured employers and construction companies through all aspects of litigation, from inception through trial and appeals.

Nick is an associate in the White Plains, NY office handling workers’ compensation litigation on behalf of insurance carriers, third-party administrators and employers. Prior to joining Chartwell Law, he represented public unions in matters relating to improper practices, grievances, Article 75 disciplinary matters, and contract negotiations, as well as New York State and local disability retirement claims.

Chris is a partner in the New York, NY office. His practice focuses on insurance coverage analysis and litigation, commercial litigation, subrogation, general liability and professional liability.  Wosleger advises insurers and third-party administrators on first-party property damage and third-party liability claims and prosecutes and defends declaratory judgment actions relating to insurance and indemnity obligations.  He also defends commercial entities in a wide range of litigations involving amateur sports, premises liability, general negligence and the New York labor laws.    

The lists appear in The New York Times Magazine, the New York Metro Super Lawyers supplement in The New York Times newspaper, Westchester Magazine, New York Metro Super Lawyers Magazine, Hudson Valley Magazine, and Upstate New York Super Lawyers Magazine.

Each year only two and a half percent of New York attorneys receive the Rising Star honor.
