Garett A. Willig is an accomplished civil litigator with more than 15 years of experience representing corporate and individual defendants in all aspects of civil litigation in state and federal courts throughout Texas. His practice focuses on the defense of cases involving general liability, premises liability, products liability, construction, transportation, and professional liability claims.

Garett frequently represents insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and corporate clients—many of them Fortune 500 companies—in matters ranging from minor property damage lawsuits to multimillion-dollar commercial litigation and complex fatality and serious personal injury cases. In addition to representing hundreds of clients in courtrooms across Texas, Garett has extensive experience working with clients nationwide and developing multi-case, multistate litigation portfolios.

As an experienced trial attorney, Garett has resolved countless matters through negotiated settlements, mediation, dispositive motion practice, and trial. He has secured numerous summary judgments and defense verdicts and is known for developing litigation strategies that align with his clients' unique business objectives and needs.

Garett understands that the key to any lawsuit is the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, whether with clients, judges, mediators, or jurors. In addition to his active litigation practice, he has developed a track record of leadership and mentorship among his fellow attorneys and is committed to mentoring the next generation of trial lawyers.

Garett earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the Currents International Trade Law Journal. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society and earned University Honors.
