Robert McGee is a seasoned civil defense litigator with more than three decades of experience representing clients in high-exposure matters. His practice focuses on transportation, personal injury defense, product liability, non-subscriber employee liability, and construction liability, with a strong track record for defending complex cases through trial, arbitration, and resolution.

Robert is known for his steady approach to litigation and his ability to handle challenging cases with precision and efficiency. He works closely with clients, insurance carriers, and expert witnesses to assess exposure, identify key risks and opportunities, develop case strategy, and position matters for the best possible outcome. He has extensive experience overseeing all phases of litigation, from drafting pleadings and dispositive motions to conducting key depositions and preparing cases for trial.

A significant part of Robert’s practice involves working with medical and technical experts. He has conducted countless expert and physician depositions and is recognized for his skill in preparing and defending expert testimony. In addition to his litigation work, Robert is an experienced witness trainer for expert and lay witness depositions, sharing valuable insight with expert witnesses and clients facing challenging claims.

Robert is an active member of the Texas Bar Association and frequently presents on litigation strategy, risk mitigation, and effective claims handling. His recent presentations include programs focused on minimizing exposure in high-value cases and managing difficult opposing counsel.

He earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he was named to the Dean’s List and received the Bureau of National Affairs Law Student Award. He holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from North Texas State University.

Outside of his practice, Robert enjoys watching college football and spending time fishing.
