Chartwell Law continues its growth in the southern United States with the addition of partner Barret S. Albritton and its first office in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the firm’s 21st office.
Albritton brings over 18 years of experience representing and defending businesses, large self-insured organizations, insurance carriers, and employers in various general liability and casualty defense matters, workers’ compensation claims, and employment law and workplace-related issues. An experienced trial lawyer, Albritton represents clients in federal and state courts across Tennessee.
“I was honored to be offered the opportunity to start a new office with the Chartwell Law group. The firm’s vision for growth and professional opportunities are what ultimately led to me making a change,” states Albritton. “Additionally, the chance to work with a group of like-minded attorneys who take pride in working together to effectively and efficiently assist clients in the development of sound legal strategy was very attractive. I am really looking forward to the latest chapter in my legal career.”
The addition of Albritton to Chartwell Law continues the firm’s course for growth. Over the past few months, the firm brought on lateral hires Kirstie L. Hayduk in the firm’s Deerfield Beach office, Leslie M. Whitten, who leads the firm’s new Charleston, South Carolina office, and Jeffrey W. Melcher, who heads the firm’s recently opened Atlanta, Georgia office. More office openings and new attorneys are planned throughout 2021.
