Jonathan P. Spadea focuses his practice on the representation of clients in workers’ compensation, medical fee review, and employment law matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Mr. Spadea frequently defends insurance carriers, self-insured entities and TPAs in workers’ compensation matters across the state of Pennsylvania. In addition, he helps insurers navigate the fee review arena litigating disputes over medical bills with providers. Mr. Spadea is dedicated to obtaining the best possible outcome for his clients, whether that be a speedy resolution to avoid unnecessary costs, or aggressive litigation to defend the client’s rights. In addition to providing legal advice and representing clients, Mr. Spadea regularly presents on workers’ compensation and employment law issues.
Prior to joining the team at Chartwell Law, Mr. Spadea worked as a law clerk for the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office, as well as a prominent law firm in Harrisburg. Mr. Spadea is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar.
While in law school, Mr. Spadea worked as a Certified Legal Intern in the Environmental Law Clinic and received an Honors Certificate in Environmental Law upon graduation.
Outside of the office, Mr. Spadea is a strong supporter of the Harrisburg Humane Society and an avid fan of Notre Dame Football.
